In each of the twenty-five categories five nominees were selected based on the average scores of at least eight judges. In some categories, due to score ties, more than five nominees were announced.
Nominations are presented in alphabetical order by nominee.
57 productions (15 musicals, 42 plays) were adjudicated in 2001.
Twelve community theater companies participated in WATCH adjudication.
